About Charlotte Perkins Gilman

Best remembered for her short story, "The Yellow Wallpaper," Gilman was a prolific and imaginative early feminist writer. Her best-known novel, Herland, first appeared in her own magazine, The Forerunner, each issue of which was written and published entirely by Gilman herself.
